How to I force open lilies - I have some for a wedding service today that are still closed - any ideas?

Put the lilies in a bucket of warm water and place in a warm location. I do this all the time for flower arrangements for my church!!

Sit them RIGHT in some sunlight...and gently aggitate the buds between your fingers until they release.
They probably will take a few more hours to drop right open, but once you get them going they'll go for the sun.
Take them outside to sun.

also release the petals with your fingers slightly
but be careful not to break it!
Bit late but.. warm water and a hair dryer.
