My bay leave tree is full of brown leave is it dead or can i save it?

Question:we were away on holiday for 2 weeks over easter and came back to fined the tree in this state we have watered it and fed it since but it isn,t really improoving

Answers:
take off all the dead brown leaves water bit every day, it should come back. ours did.

Scratch the bark on the trunk if it's green under it is still alive, if not compost it.
Keep watering it.it'll be the heat burning the leaves.

As the other poster said, try & strip some of the dead leaves...they will literally crumple off if they are dead. And water water water!!!!

Our apple tree did it last year...we have since got a sprinkler to put on every night if its not raining, and we have a better crop growing...11 last year...about 200 this year! hehehehe
it may have got too much water, you shouldn't water or fertilize it
If it is in a pot I fear it may be dead. If in the ground it might revive on the assumption is needed water but unless it's large it might be easier to take it up and get another - if it did revive it will take a couple od seasons to regain it's growth.
