Pumpkin plants?
Question:i live in palmdale, california and i planted pumpkins june 20th. do you think they will be orange by halloween?

it depends on the seeds there are different kinds they can be riped earlier they come out pretty fast i grew one in kindergarten. they came out in a week!! they will probably take more time soon in September they will be ripe!!
Probably so and they have pretty blooms. I had a mix planted and some really pretty yellow blooms appeared followed by little pumpkins. Pleasant surprise!
