How can I kill weeds organically without killing my plants?
Question:I don't want to use anything that would harm animals or my plants. I don't have enough space to use the weedeater and it would take forever to pull them up by hand.
Answers:
Here is a cheap method that i have used to kill weeds.
1) Use either thick layers of newspaper or cardboard to layer the ground. (Some newspapers have petroleum based ink while others have soy based ones, most black and white could be soy based)
2) Cover the paper/cardboard with a layer of mulch to weight it down. (This is more for appearance sake and can be omitted if the paper/cardboard look is ok). Use some small stones at the ends if looks are not too important.
3) Wet the area to let them settle.
Hope it helps! Happy Gardening
By tilling, use a cultivator.
Try Vinegar

spray vinigar 5%-20% acid will kill the weeds but don't drain the plants if they are still too young
good luck!
I was recently writing an article about this that got published on ezinearticles and also on http://www.1800topsoil.com The answer is it is impossible. A weed is something growing where it is not wanted. Weed killer kills just about anything it can get its hands on. Spray VERY carefully and only spray the weeds. Good luck!
A big pile of mulch. Cover with at least a couple inches on top and it will prevent the weeds to get sunlight. No sunlight, no sprouting up weeds. Not sure how big the area and what kind of weed you have, but it's up to you to try. This works the best when the weeds are still babies. When I started my garden, I got lots of compost and a good garden soil because the soil here was horrible. Dandelion popped up everywhere. Adding a good soil minimized the weed in the flower bed, but nature(Wind, birds, insects, etc.) brought them finally. I just pick them myself with a few different kind of weeding tool now. Good luck!
