Laying turf, is it ok to use weedkiller on prepared patch?

Question:

Answers:
Depends on what weed killer you are using. If your using a glyphosate (round up) then it will be OK as long as you wait a few day after application to lay the turf.
Other weed killer, such a those referred to as soil sterilants should not be used.
My biggest suggestion is to read the label. The label will tell you when to plant and the hazards

Yeas - but use an appropriate product and allow time for soaking - don't lay the turf straight away.
Not really, it will make turf rooting much slower and if you get a dry spell, some of the turf may not "take" and go brown. Better NOT to use it and make sure the souil is well prepared.
You cannot lay the turf on that patch, labels normally say the killer stays in the soil for 6 months after the application, the stuff will stay in the ground and accelerate the grass growth...which will then die
