If you work mowing a lawn with a partner should you split the pay or double it?
Question:I am mowing a lawn with my friend and I'm wondering if I charge about $15 per hour she we split the pay in half and share it or should we double it?

Well - firstly all business costs should come out of the profit - eg fuel, replacement blades, servicing etc and who owns the mower? So maybe out of every $15 $3 goes for fuel and maintenance - the owner get 7 and the other partner 5 - just my thoughts
split it. if you double it, then you'd have to mow the yard twice. that's expensive.
