My new weeping willow tree is producing small, yellow leaves. just wanted to know if it was normal.?

yes its new growth. weeping willows take time to flourish. be patient by the third year you can really see growth ..i planted them all around my pond and the first year i was lik eman are they ever gonna grow but those lil leaves arent dying because of the yellowish..its just new growth they will turn green like the others soon enough. :) Dont ya just love weeping willows.


I actually saw some people not to far from my house plant two of these in their yard.

The exact same thing happen to them. Accept every leaf on the tree practically turned yellow. Now a year or so later they are HUGE and look simply beautiful. It may be new growth that is just coming out.

Whatever you are doing, keep doing it! You are obviously doing something right! I whish I had more room to grow one of these trees. The really old ones look really cool. Just like they came out of a fairy tale book or something.
