Can anyone tell me if the new patch perfect grass seed is animal safe?

Question:saw an add on tv about this grass seed that grows like its on steroids and needs little watering has a sheel that obsorbs water and grows any plac cold or hot weather, i need to know if this stuff is animal safe can anyone answer this for me please?

All of the "patch" type products are basically the same. It is some seed mixed in with a water absorbent material. They usually add a fertilizer too, so you can just toss it down and water. There is nothing inherently wrong with them, but they are usually MUCH more expensive than seed alone and probably more expensive then just buying pieces of sod and cutting out a patch to fit your hole.
All of the box stores carry something similar. Sometimes it is in a rolled up mat or sometimes it is in a big, fluffy bag. If you are just filling a few square feet here or there, it might work for you. If you have a larger area to address, fall overseeding is a much more cost effective approach.
