I need a flower/herb name that begins with the letter K.?

Question:Its for an afghan I'm making for my mom-in-law. On the chart, it appears to be similar to an amaryllis or a lily. The flower is pink.
Thanks everyone!

Answers:
Kaffir Lily - Schizostylis coccinea, is the only answer that meets your qualifications, lily and pink, in fact many shades of pink. Clivia miniata is also known as a Kaffir lily but I've never seen a pink one, only orange and yellow. RScott

A Red Hot Poker is of the Lily family and it's official name is Kniphofia. Is that what you are looking for? Red Hot Pokers come in a variety of bright colors and has flower spikes.

The only other one I can think of would be Kalmia angustifolia, or Sheep Laurel.
