How much dirt is in a 6 inch my 6 foot hole?

Question:

Answers:
None

No dirt in a hole

a .5 ft by 6ft cylinder has the volume = pi*r^2*h

= 3.14159 * (.5)^2*6 =

4.712 cu ft
did you mean 6" by 6' hole? volume of soil that would fit into such a hole? 4.7124 cubic feet. that's a formula of pi x radius squared x height, ie: 3.1416 x (.5 x.5=.25) x 6= volume. math was never my strong suit, so i'm not 100% confident about this.
