Do you think its too late to successfully start a late crop of tomatoes in Tn?

Question:

Answers:
I'm sorry, but It is definitely too late to start a crop of tomatoes. The problem you have is that it is already getting too hot and tomatoes stop producing in the extreme heat. You may get your seeds to germinate, but you won't get fruit. Even with a plant that has already been started there isn't enough time for it to mature enough to produce fruit. You can try, but your chances are pretty slim. The growing season is almost over and it's only going to get hotter in Aug. and Sept. I planted my tomatoes in late April and I'm only now getting fruit from one plant. The other hasn't even begun to fruit yet which is probably due to all the rain we've had. Good luck.

IMHO, from seed, I'd think so. it is essential to get the second crop of tomatoes in the ground before the end of July. Planting later than July usually results in essentially no harvest.
No...as long as you get some starter plants that have a head start.
Not sure about that but you might try buying an almanac it will tell you to best time to plant certain kinds of crops
Tomatoes normally take about 3 months from sowing to harvest. Your only bet is to take side shoots from somone else“s tomato plants, and put them in water to root and then plant out, but even then the fruit may not ripen before the frost.
