How do I get rid of gophers in my residential yard?

i had gophers in my flower bed. they pulled the stones out from underneath the garage and made their home under the garage.they had a hole from my flower bed to under the garage and made another hole that came out to the back of the garage. i bought gopher pellets, it looks like rabbit food. you put some at the entrance of each hole you find. i don't have gophers any more.

Best solution would be to get a cat. We have three -- want one? They are always bringing little presents home. So far this year 7 moles, 6 snakes, 3 preying mantis, 1 very dead robin, 1 jawbone of a deer, including teeth. Just the bone, not the whole deer. Had been dead a couple of years. We have also been presented with a couple of dragon flies, beetles and grass hoppers. Always have to see what is in the cat's mouth before we let them in.
there is gopher bait on the market.but buy you several of the little wind mill things for about 2 bucks and place them around the lawn. they don't like the vibaration
