Which boundary fence do you generally own in the back garden?

Question:

Answers:
Well, I live in the country and own all of my fences. Usually, though, the supporting posts for the fence you own are on your side. But there is no hard and fast rule, you will have to look at the deeds.

Looking to the end of your garden, the one on the left.
The right hand side. In the UK.
The right hand side as you look through the back window.
they are shared
but I installed them to keep the goats and chickens IN.
The one you paid to have put up.
The one with the posts on your side,. This is only a guide and is not the law... Only the deeds of the property will tell you for sure.
The fence you own has the support rails facing you - in other words you see the back.
Although hardly ever does anyone contend it.in the UK, we are legally responsible for the right side garden fence as we look out to the back garden from the house.
FC is right looking from your back door/s towards the end of the garden it is the fencing on your left hand side in the UK
Definitely usually the left and end fences. When houses are built, a thick wire is put up to mark the exact position of the boundary - if you are lucky you may still find either it or the metal rings it was threaded through, somewhere on the boundary. If you find it on your side the fence belongs to your neighbour.
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD IT IS THE RIGHT HAND FENCE AS YOU LOOK OUT DOWN YOUR BACK GARDEN. i KNOW THIS BECAUSE OUR NEIGHBOUR ON THE RIGHT ASKED IF WE MINDED IF HE REPLACED OUR EXISTING FENCE WITH A HIGHER ONE.
There is no basis in law that I know of but generally the right hand rule applies. Put you right hand overhand on top of the fence, the direction your thumb points is your half.
We own all of them around our lot but we also share our lot with seven neighbors. My great grandfather bought a corn farm put his house up and kept a nice chunk of land. The rest was divided over time.
The one(s) with the best side facing away, no seriously they are
If you have 10 houses you would have 11 fences,
house 1 would be responsible for the boundary fence and the l/h side looking out of the back window, all the others would then look after the l/h side,
