Does anyone know how to pickle cauliflower?

4 heads Cualiflower
1 cup salt
2 quarts vinegar
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup mixed pickle spices
Break appart flowerets of cauliflower, sprinkle w/ salt, and let stand in kettle overnight. Rince in colander w/ cold water and drain. boil vinegar, sugar, and spices (tied in bag). Add cauliflower, boil a few minutes longer, and fill hot sterile jars to overflowing. Seal.
Pretty simple, soak it in pickle juice for a couple weeks.
honey, pickling is pickling. they even pickle pigs feet, right? just use a cucumber recipe and cauliflower instead. different spices or cooking time are not required
