I have a cat palm plant that i just bought today /can i keep this plant without that much light ?

most palms like bright light, but fortunately, it doesn't need to be natural. keep it somewhere you have a bright flourescent light (or a gro-lite, bit it doesn't have to be) and keep it somewhere warm where the temp won't vary much (off the floor on a plant stand and away from drafty areas.)
