We bought ours at HomeDepot. My husband loves it. He mows the lawn and gets exercise at the same time.
Look for "push mower" and you'll get a lot more answers, whether you be searching through the Yellow Pages or the internet. But, I do like your term "engineless". Reminds me of the time I drew a movie projector in an art class and the youngsters didn't know what it was, they were used to VCRs.
Go to any farm, and buy some sheep or goats.
I bought mine from Amazon.com, and it works great.
One warning: do not let your lawn grow more than 3 or 4 inches high. If you let it grow longer, the front guard will push the grass over, keeping it from getting up into the blades. At that point, you will have to either borrow a friends gas/electric mower, or weedwhack your entire yard.
