How do I kill maggots,I'll try anything!?

Question:They are in our trash bin outside. I DONT want them in the house. Ive researched the web and Im pretty sure I'll get the same answers here but Im HOPING something different will come about. Ive tried: fly/bug/roach spray (paralyzes them, they still live); hairspray (aquanet doesnt catch fire like it used to when i was a teen :( ); putting the can in the sun (some are drying up but not enough). Next attempts: drowning with water or drowning with boiled water. Is there anything else aside from squishing them? Where are they trying to go once out of the trash bin?? Any links you guys can direct me to that arent on the first page of google in regards to maggots or killing maggots?? *shivers & cringes* creepy things, I wish they'd turn to flies already and LEAVE. Im trying to prevent that though. bah.

Answers:
Bleach will kill them. I've done it.

Salt? Diotemaceous (sp?)earth?
Bleach sounds about as good as anything.
use bleach
Power wash with detergent, eight days in a row. consistency will prevail!
Spray them with windex
If you have maggots in your trash bin they are most surely Fly or Bluebottle larvae. Flies breed in decaying meat or fish products. If you do not wrap meat products BEFORE dumping them, you are inviting problems. Killing maggots is pointless when flies can breed so quickly. Tidy up your bin, and problem goes away !
I know it is expensive, but try gasoline and a road flair.
Picture Ladies right. When I moved into my house I was about to throw a bag into my bin and screamed when I saw loads of white things in my bin (maggots!) it knocked me sick! I poured a bottle of bleach over them and kept pouring kettles of boiling water over them, then I got my friend to tip the bin down the drain after about half an hour, it got rid of them and the nasty smell what was there.
i have found an answer first spray them with wasp spray and then put boiling water on them and they die instintly this will work trust me
