Dying rhododendron?

Question:I planted 2 rhododendrons in the fall, one is growing and is healthy, the other seems to be withering and dying. What can I do to save the dying one?

Answers:
Try trimming off all dead branches, keeping it in the shade for a while, mulch it and give it a good drink of fish emulsion

did they give you a one year guarantee. if so go back and get a repacement
Rhododendron's like Ericaceous soil They thrive in this acidic soil. You can buy special plant feeds for Rhododendrons or you could try some ericaceous compost to give the plant what it wants :)
