SF is pretty okay. Little cloudy and a bit windy. =/
I'm in OK and we just got through a 20day straight rain streak. We were just recently allowed two days of no rain and then just last night it began all over again. The forecast is for rain all week. It's monsoon season in Oklahoma this summer. A friend of mine said that when they forecast a 30% chance of rain what they really mean is that it is going to rain for 30% of the day. It's a soggy mess here and my roses are very unhappy.
It's been really hot here in northern Michigan lately with almost 4 inches of rain this month. Sounds like you could really use some of ours, sorry.

am just in south burbs if Illinois.. we got 2 pretty good storms of rain the last 2 days... so everything is green here for now
We were hot and dry about 3-4 weeks ago. I could see it wasn't going to be a good year for the farmers. And then we got that million dollar rain farmers talk about and it has been raining a good bit this week. Hope you get some rain soon. Live in Southern Ohio.
Southwest Illinois.. just had two days of unsettled weather and lot of storms AROUND me. Watched thunderstorms go north and south of me and got only sprinkles. Very little actual precipitation actually fell here. It's like I have a big, invisible umbrella over my house! The cool front has passed through here and it looks like a couple of days before the next chance of rain. We could really use a good shower at my house!
We live in southeastern NM, high plains. It is raining right now. This has been a different summer. More rain then usual but we have had several years of less than 9" of rain so we need it.
It had been dry dry dry here in Burlington Vermont but the last week or so we have so much rain, yes my lawn looks better, that I am going to start building an arc! I grew up in New Jersey and the thunder storms we have been having would put those to shame!
Well Whisper we have had some rain, but not enought to get us out of the drought conditions. Be patient you'll get yours when nature decides to give it to you

Hi,
I live in Southern California and we are practically in a drought. No rain to speak of last winter. We are being asked to cut back on watering our yards, washing cars, washing down driveways etc. A very big concern out here since we are mostly a desert anyway. I have cut back where I can but I have flower beds, and citrus trees that all require water.
Doesn't look good across the nation except in Texas where they almost drown.
We sure could use the water too! :)
I am in San Miguel de Allende, in mid Mexico, altitude 6500'.
It is supposed to be the rainy season and I'm glad I saw this question cos it hasn't rained for 4 days so I'll need to water my plants and backyard before retiring tonight. When it rains here it comes down heavily, sometimes ferociously, and the taxis and cars splash you as you wait for a bus or rush home on foot. Ten days ago we had hailstones as big as 8 mm and they piled up on the garden table and my puppy ate them! But we need the water. It is very hot in the midday, 90's, and cool in the evenings. Love the climate here.
The Boise area of Idaho is SO dry!! and it's hotter than ever. We got a few drops a couple days ago in boise, but out where I live, nothing. I live in Kuna. 20 miles south west (i think) of boise
I live in your neighboring state of Ohio(central) and I hear you. I've heard a lot of thunder and seen a lot of dark clouds like it is going to storm and then it clears up. That has happened several times. I know only one day last week it poured. My two older sons live down in Nashville, TN and they say the same about their area. Our grass is pretty bad hear also. I think our seasons have really changed over the past two years. I didn't think it was ever going to warm up this spring and now is an oven.
we have a break from all the rain in western Wa.State.it has been fairly warm for a couple weeks now. the grass is dry and lot's of forrest fires.but we will be back to rain before we know it.
I am in Cataula, Ga south of Atlanta (90 miles). Not much rain. We are in serious drought conditions. The grass is brown and the ground is getting sandy. Nothing is growing! All is getting brown!
I come from eastern New Mexico, the high Plains region, Clovis to be exact. We are starting to look like it did there when I was growing up.
It's been pretty sporadic where we live on the outskirts of Richmond, Va. The rain has been all around but just seems to skip over our neighborhood. I water only the tomatoes and potted flowers every other day.
I have the TV on right now and the weatherman just said we are in a drought right now, we get bits of rain here and there but not enough. I am in central Wisconsin.
