Question:im redoing my pond and front deck,i need plants that can handle fl climate and extreme sun most of the day,and sandy ground to plant

Tall ornamental grasses are beautiful around horizontal areas like ponds and decks. I use "monkey" grass and pampas grass around my fishpond and my deck, but then I live in Oklahoma!
