I have just been given a large 'singapore orchid' (purple/white/ flower)...how do I care for it?

Question:I am in Australia. How often do I water it? Do I give it "Thrive' or whatever ?

Make sure you give it lots of room..they tend to grow quite large..if you have good soil ,don't worry about the thrive et al..if you live above Sydney,water once a week..deeply till established..mulch well if still a small tree..BUT give it some room.Bauhinia I-forget-now..
