I just planted strawflowers in my window box two days ago and they are already drooping. The leaves especially

Question:I also planted some plumbago and all the petals fell off in two days!

Answers:
They are going through transplant shock. Just keep them well watered and they should perk up in a couple days. When you transplant flowers, you should cut off the blooms and trim back some of the foliage to give the plant a little "rest" so they can put their energy into setting their roots.
I know, I know, it is painful to bring home a beautiful plant and then snip all their 'heads' off. I cringe every time I have to do it, but they really do come back very fast and you have a much healthier plant.

Freshly planted items need A LOT of water to take to the soil. Drooping typically is a sign of dryness.

If the leaves are yellowing before they fall off this could be a sign of overwatering.
