What kind of tree is this?
Question:Can you look at my 360 blog and identify this tree? It's in Maryland near Baltimore. I don't think it's the Acer Grisum tree because the bark is thicker and is a different color. But I'm pretty sure it's some type of Maple..

Julie is right it is a sycamore !
Your tree looks like a sugar Maple tree. I just put out two of these and also one in the red maple. The trunks look like maple trees. I live in the south and maple will do well here if in the right kind of soil--They make the most beautiful Fall foliage. I hope for that that this is what you have. The leaves are green in the spring and summer -turning a blaze of red-yellow and gold in the Fall. Enjoy --they are beautiful trees.
it's one of the sub species of a platanus tree, possible an "americana" one. Google up "platanus". I don't know the english name for it, only latin.
Edit: i searched it up for you:
Platanus occidentalis
American Sycamore,
American Plane or Buttonwood
grows in: eastern North America
