Is there any use for what is commonly known as crab apples?

Question:

Answers:
Sure - they're great for throwing at passing by cars.

I don't believe so.
Any apple recipe will work for crab apples. Did you know that it is believed that the wild crab apple was the first fruit known to man and one of the first fruits to be cultivated? Cool huh?
the only thing I know of is crab apple jelly. You have to cook them, and strain to remove the skins and seeds. basically like a regular apple jelly. I add a touch of red food coloring to make it appealing
Sure..make crabapple wine!
When we were little kids we threw them at each other
They make a great jelly. We also used to use them as "bombs" when we were kids-but that's pretty messy. LOL
Good jelly
We used to throw them at each other in highschool. You could have a crab apple battle.
Not that I,m aware of except the birds eat them in the colder weather!
