My son got a seed from agriculture day at his school and he planted it. It was a round seed and it is growing.

Question:No blooms yet. Any idea what it is

Answers:
Nobody can tell you that from that description.

wait and see.
could be a mustard seed if it was really tiny.

a lot of bird seed is round too.
if it's hemp,you could grow some bio-diesel !
was it a seed or a pit. round seeds are beans & peas
Probably something easy to grow like a carrot, radish or lettuce. A picture of the plant might help to identify it. But as soon as it flowers it will even be easier to identify. You might take it to a local garden center. They should be able to help. Good luck!
A lot of bird seed contains hemp seeds. A lot of times they are not sterile and can start to grow underneath a bird feeder due to spillage.

Do you have any more information such as size, color, markings, etc. of the seed?

What is the shape, structure, grouping, arrangement, venation, margins, etc. of the leaves?

Does the plant have any other distinctive characteristics such as square stems or fuzzy leaves or stalk?

There are anywhere between 230-422,000 species of flowering plants on earth.
