Sonic deterrents have never worked for me. Having paid a professional for a long time, I decided to teach myself how to trap moles. It's not difficult, buy a quality trap and follow the instructions.

Get a cat - very effective at keeping moles out of the garden. There is also a type of euphorbia nicknamed the mole plant as when it's seed head disperses the seed it goes with quite a pop - this apparently keeps the moles away too.
