I have millions of Cicadas in my yard front and back help!?
Question:I have thousands of cicadas in my yard. It is nearly impossible to go outside the house or come in from the car without a few landing on me. Is there some way to keep them off me. They are large...at least three inches long now and they scream when you take them off. I don't even like small insects so this is a nightmare. Think of the movie the birds.

They are a bother every 17 or so years. Just take it easy, they won't last much longer.
They won't hurt you.
Do you have a neighbor's or relative's dog you can borrow? Usually dogs find them to be tasty treats.
That must be a bug phobics nightmare. Try to have a little compassion for them though, they have such a short time on earth. Plus, they were here first.
haha! I borrowed my friends dog and its working. Doggie's eating them like crunchy Doritos chips. Cicada's are not scary at all. I think they're cute, they got these big orange eyes that makes them look like Pokemon. Cockroaches are scrarier than these cicadas. Oh yea me and my uncle are gonna deep fry 20 of these tonight while drinking beer.
