Is there any way to get rid of kudzu?

Question:If you know, please help!

Answers:
Unfortunately no. I had this same problem when I lived in South Carolina. I lived out in the country and every year it seemed the kudzu would grow closer and closer to my yard. The only way I know of to stop the growth is to burn it. It will not get rid of it all together but it will stop the growth for a time.

I think to control it you can burn it before the spring growth starts. It won't kill it for good but it will control the growth. Or you could harvest it. People make tea out of it or feed it to their livestock :-)
kudzu can be eaten by people and harvested in bails for animals...don't think of it as a weed think of it as a resource.
for recipies you can do a yahoo search...i did..ps. roundup herbicide should kill it root and all
I have found that Round up works on almost anything or just find some total vegetation killer.Put it directly on the roots or where it sprouts out.Good luck !
Hey they just told about goats eating that stuff.Don't know your situation.but if you could find a goat...good luck...that stuff grows so many feet a day.
