Answers:
Hello

Well you can do one of several things.

1) Try using sod, its quick its easy its sold at most local Garden Centers at this time of the year. It can be cut to fit your spots, and grows well when watered daily for the first 2-3 weeks after applying a start fertilizer the day u roll it out. Although it does get expensive around 6 dollars for 9 sq ft usually cut 1.5'X6'.

2) Spot seed remove the dead rough up the soil and just throw some seed down. Apply a salt hay substitute that is sterlized with no weed seeds or a pennmulch (little green pellets that expand 6x there size to cover seed and then break down into the soil as a starter fertilizer).

Be sure not to use any crabicides or high nitrogen fertilizers for 3-4 weeks after using either step or it will kill the new lawn.
