What should I use to kill grubs?

Question:What kind of insecticide?

Answers:
Well seeing that I'm naturalist at heart I try to grow and garden organically and useing insecticides near something that I might be eating or smelling or digging around near is no good, not to mention the chemicals run off into drains and the ground tables and eventually get to water sources for humans and animals alike. I recommend inviting wild birds into your back yard by putting out a bird feeder and in no time they will have the bug and grub population under control. For a faster approach, get a chicken! Those things will gobble three times their weight in bugs a day!

Good luck and happy gardening!

Hello

Grubs are annoying little bas. . . insects but easy to control. If you have a heavy infestation you want to use any product containing trichlorofon (common name Dylox). You can also use a heavy application of Beta Cyfluthrin, and for a season long control but not good for a quick kill because it takes two weeks to begin working would be Imidaclorpridt (commonly known as Merrit). Do not use Scott's Grub Control because it contains halphenodizt which in a manner of speaking if proportioned between a grub and a human and both consumed the human would die before the grub, its very bad scotts is bad. All found at a local garden center. Good luck.
