How can I...?

Question:Plant things in my backyard with out some animal getting to them? I try buying the flowers and putting those in the ground, and the cats from the neighborhood chew on them, or use the flowerbed as a litter box. And if i just plant the seeds, birds come and eat them! No joke! Please help!

Answers:
for the cats, you can sprinkle cayanne pepper (like the stuff you get in a shaker) all in the flower beds on the dirt, the cats don't like that. for the birds you get a bb gun and if you shoot at the birds for a month or so, they will never come back, chances are you'll never hit one, but the dont come back anymore :)

Hello

Animals are a real pain in the garden and very persistent. I know that moth balls will turn away cats but there actually are Dog and Cat repellants out there. Anything containing Methyl Nonyl Kytone will repell cats and dogs. Found mostly in Dog and Cat repellant products. Also citronella oil and galic oil work also. All available at your local Garden Center
