I have seeds for growing bamboo?

Question:i have bamboo seeds and i would like to know whento plant them? when should i move them to a bigger pot and how often to water them? how long until Moso Bamboo
reaches fullhieght and when does it start to send up shoots??

Answers:
Bamboo does not care when/where it is planted and is more difficult to get rid of than cancer once it settle in a piece of land. Put in soil and keep it moist, you should see growth in a week or two max.

Once germinated and planted in a pot it shouldn't be long before your first shoot appears. Then possibly another set of shoots will develop later in the year, definitely more in the coming years.

I would move them to a bigger pot after the second set of shoots comes up. I waited almost a year which might have been too long as many of the little boos were root bound in the container.

That was 2 years ago. Now the Moso are sending up pinky finger sized shoots about 4 feet tall. I've been told it may be 15 years till I see max height on these!
Just sow them into the ground with a little bit of water and you should see them sprouting very soon
