Can you start roots from putting lantana cuttings in water?

Question:if so then why do they droop so bad after first cutting and are still after 2 days in water?

Answers:
Lantana cuttings will start better if you plant them in a medium (soil substitute) instead of water.

Here are two good explanations of how to start soft wood stem cuttings:

Good Luck!!

Don't know for sure about lantana but almost any soft woody plants can be started that way
