Why is a greenhouse called a greenhouse when most of the time its clear?

Question:

Answers:
Because it's full of green plants?

You grow your greens in them.
Think about what's growing inside of it.
It is because of what is "INSIDE", which is a lot of greenery.
Because what grows inside it is Green.
Primarily for growing green things in.

And flowers.
And seedlings.
And tomatoes.
because the feller who invented them was colour blind
Because you grow green stuff in it, like green plants and stuff

.
I think it is because the things you put in it are green
It is called a green house because you put your plants in side and it gets hot inside. It even gets hotter in a green house than out side.
Well, when you grow plants in a green house you intend for them to be green. Rather than dead.
Because the things grown inside it are not brown ..
Just look through the clear glass and what do you see?? Oh my- green!
