I have planted a Buddliah plant in my modest little garden.?

Question:Its growing very well, but , Ive noticed that something is nibbling the leaves, and I think its earwigs. Ive found them on the underside of some of the leaves. Can anyone recommend the best way to rectify this problem, and what with?

Answers:
I have problems with earwigs on my butterfly bush too. I previously used diazianon, but that is no longer available. This year I am using a liquid called Triazicide. Either it is working, or this is not a good year for earwigs. It seems to work good for ants, so maybe it's doing it's work on the earwigs too. Bought it at Home Depot.

I would use a stiff spray of water on the undersides of the leaves and see what happens. Then investigate other things-There is organic information online. I don't like to use poisons tho. Sorry
good luck
