If I plant a pine cone, will it grow into a tree? When do pine trees produce pine cones? During the summer?

Question:

Answers:
Pinetrees are like any other tree in the fact that they grow more in the spring but lose their cones in the fall. Also, if you will take a pinecone and look under most of the little pointy tabs you find a seed. It looks kind of like a bug wing. That is the seed.

You most likely will want the seeds to fall out of the pine cone so so let them dry then plant the seeds.there are some pines that the seeds will not come out of the cone till it has gone through a forest fire.
