Any suggestions on how to keep small pool clean?
Question:My daughter has a 389 gallon pool. It's too much to drain every day, but gets pretty nasty in just 2-3 days if I don't. I think to use chemicals you have to have a pump, right? Is there anything I can do to keep from having to drain this thing every other day?

A small pump and filter would really do wonders for the pool but putting a cover over it when not inuse is a good idea and maybe add a small amount of chlorine to it for sanitizing, here is a site you can look at for ideas www.intheswim.com
Keep it covered should make a noticeable difference.
Urinate in it... amonia works wonders
Because there is no pump, or drain, they are a pain, but you can try adding plenty of fresh water everyday, just leave the hose in there, and let it run, and you might try a little salt, because they do have salt water pools, nowadays, but I would be careful about adding chemicals, especially with children in there.
