Why aren't my cucumbers and watermelon pants producing?
Question:I planted my cucumbers and watermelon in early June and both have plenty of blooms, but no baby cucubers or watermelons. The watermelons look like they are starting to come in, but then they just turn yellow, die and fall off.
Answers:
Vining fruits (yes, including cucumbers) produce male and female flowers. The female flowers must be pollinated from the male flowers (insects do this). Male flowers sometimes produce small fruits that then turn yellow and die. This is probably what is happening to you. This can happen with too much rain, too fertile soil, too many other blooms on the vine, or apparently for no reason at all.
What can you do? You cannot do anything except be patient. If you have insects pollinating your vines, you will soon have full-sized, normal fruits.
both plants need a ton of water to produce fruit. think about how juicy they are when you bite into them. try to water more and maybe try a plant food like miracle grow
Give it some nutrients, mix those MiracleGro plant food with water and water your veggies.
Use miracle grow and feed lots of water because both of them are watery so u have to give them more water.
maybe too much water and fertilizer.

also it hasn't been that long since you planted, if it is just now blooming i'd give it 2 or 3 more weeks.
watermelons take a long time.
Stay away from Miracle-Gro and synthetics.
Your plants may not be producing because they set flowers but you have nobody to pollinate them. So eventually, they fall unfertilized. Take a Q-tip and help nature out a little
