Help! My rose bushes are dying!?

Question:My rose bush is being attacked by a weed that is wrapping itself around it. I keep pulling the weeds but within days, it comes back. It's choking the roses. Also part of the rosh bush has white stuff on it that doesnt wipe off. The roses look horrible. Any suggestions?

Answers:
First off the vine is a bind weed. I can't be killed by pulling. But be careful about weed killers b/c your rose could be hurt. The white stuff is mildew, take a spray bottle and put some baking soda and water in it, mix and spray. the soda changes the PH of the leaf thus making it less likely that mold or mildew will appear.
