My 'sensitive plant' or mimosa pudica has little gnats around it, in its soil?

Question:Should I try to get rid of them? Why are they here? What can I use to get rid of them? How about sevin dust? What kind of bugs are they?

Answers:
You are Correct thinking "Sevin Dust". I had the same problem and I applied Sevin Dust to my Plants and No More Gnats.

is this a dirty question or i'm i just crazy?
Fungus gnats . Let the soil dry out a bit between waterings. Just not so dry that it hurts the plant .
I suspect your plant may need fresh soil. The old soil may be water logged and a breeding ground for gnats. New soil will freshen up the roots and less likely to attract bugs.
