I have been cutting my lawn as high as possible this year. But...?

Question:With cutting my lawn higher I noticed that the grasses develop "seed heads". Is this good or bad?

Answers:
Yes OK. Like prior user said it doesn't look great. If you mulch your grass those seeds will reseed your lawn.

It's not a bad thing - but it may look crappy.
Most grasses should be cut at 2 1/2 to 3" high. This will promote good growth and also control the weeds.
