How are ladybugs useful?

Question:I only know they are PESTS and they eat everythin!

Answers:
Ladybags don't eat everything. You see them on plants but they are not eating them. Thay are eating larva from other destructive bugs.
Ladybugs are one of a gardeners best friends because of this. Mosy big seed companies sell them by the thousands to gardeners. When a crop gets infected with different bad types of bugs such as beatles etc., that does eat on the plant matter, the ladybugs eat all the eggs before they can hatch, there keeping the problem at check.

Well, not only are they cute and harmless and make one memorable nursery rhyme, but believe it or not, ladybugs are considered useful insects.

Many species feed on aphids or scale insects, which are pests in gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places.

Because they are useful, colorful, and harmless to humans, coccinellids are typically considered appealing even by people who hate most insects,[POV] though a few species are pests in North America and Europe.

Some people consider seeing them or having them land on one's body to be a sign of good luck to come, and that killing them presages bad luck.
I would not call ladybugs pests.on the contrary they do a great job on plant & crop protection, they devour aphids which is said to be their favourite food ,not only do they keep aphid attacks under control but they also thus eliminate the need to use chemicals or sprays for aphid control. They should be regarded as welcome visitors to a garden.A local agriculture programme in India enlists ladybug like insects as one of the farmers friends.
I believe they eat APHIDS.
Ladybugs are good luck, don't mistake them for jap beetles which look very simular
If you have ladybugs in your garden you are a lucky person. Ladybugs are good for your garden because they eat the destructive bugs. Ladybugs love to eat aphids! Aphids can kill your plant by sucking the nutrients out of that plant.
I know they eat aphids, so that's a natural control for a damaging insect
What are they eating? I never knew them to be damaging.
Are you sure they are lady bugs?
Try to bag a few & take them to a garden center to make sure, mabe even take in a sample of the plant getting eaten, you may be seeing Lady Bugs but something else like Japanese Beetles are doing the damage.
