Why don't my old poppies bloom??

Question:the plant was planted by my grandmoyher very old plant last time it bloomed was 3 years ago

Answers:
your plant may be lacking in phosphorous. Phosphorous is the nutrient that helps with flowering. You may try usinga a bloom booster. Micacle gro makes one, and there are a couple other brands. Mix in water and water your plant with this.

if you haven't already tried it, it probably needs plant food. try a feed that's specifically for flowers. also, it might not be getting enough water.

knowing what type of poppy you have will really be helpful.
