Why aren't my Morning Glories blooming?

Question:I have a healthy vine (about 12 feet tall) but no flowers yet. Why?

Answers:
They are late blooming in most climates. Mine never bloom before Mid August. Also they like lean soil not much fertlizers

Probably due to the excessive rain this year most plants are suffering the lack of flowers
Mine are not flowering yet, either. I think they just need a bit more sunshine to prod them into flowering.
Most Morning Glories need shorter days to initiate blooms, one exception is the variety "President Tyler", mine started blooming just this week in S.W. North Dakota. RScott
See if it is getting enough sun. I had some morning glories growing on a arbor, one half was exposed to the sun and the other half was mostly shaded. The side that was shaded, the flowers did not bloom well.
Hope this helps
