I have circular bare spots on my lawn. Any input as to what this might be?

Question:They resemble a round race track. Where as, the track itself is bare from grass. There are about 4 of them all different in circumference.

Answers:
insects

grubs
aliens????
alien crop circles, or in your case alien grass circles.
I would guess some kind of insect or fungus. Not grubs. They eat the roots and the grass is loose like when you grab hold of a carpet a pull it up. Get some bug treatment and try that first. If that doesn't work. Try treating for fungus. I had fungus on my Saint Augustine grass last year.
It could be chinch bugs or grub worms, both eat the roots. Your local garden store will have an insecticide that will zap the little pests.

crop circles
The problem is a fungus and or chinch bugs (brown spot). Any do it yourself store or garden center will have the specific formula to apply to lawn. Please hurry before is spreads to your whole lawn. Good Luck
