Can i grow peanuts in a plant pot?

Question:I have a peanut growing in a plant pot and need to know if it will come to anything

Answers:
Many people are not aware that peanuts actually are formed by the roots of the peanut plant and not from its flowers. To grow them successfully in pots, you need to provide adequate room for the roots. They are warm climate crops and tend not to do so well in temperate zones. But you will probably get some nuts. Gud luk.

Hmmm good question, not sure!
Why not try it. Their is no harm in trying anyway.
You will know when the pot cracks or the soil starts to rise up.. The peanuts grow under the soil as tubers, like potatoes. Harvest your crop when the plant dies, shake your crop off the roots. Then you have to plant a new crop.
