I have a tree that is getting black patches on its leaves?

Question:Leaves are falling every day which I am sweeping up. I think the tree is a crabapple but im not sure as it hasn't produced any blossom, although its still a young tree, only about 4 years old. I have sprayed it with a fungicide twice but this is not helping

Answers:
Fungicides work on fungus. There are bacteria and viruses that can cause leaf discolorations and leaf drop. Call an arborist or take a sample to your local university extension service to ID the pathogen. Once you know the pathogen, then you can select the proper control method.

Try spraying a triple-action spray -one with fungicide, insecticide and miticide. If that doesn't work I'd say you'd have some sort of root rot. Check the tree to see if it is sitting in water. Root rots are bad though, the tree may be dunzo.
