I often wondered how plastic bags get into trees..?

Question:but today I saw something extraordinary....

A mop hanging from a tree.

What is your theory on how it got there?

Answers:
you probably have seen the very very rare "mop tree" (common name) it's actual horticultural name is Mopalatia stickila.

a very beautiful tree but only produces 1 mop every 10 years or so. i'm guessin you didn't see it in a national park? you should report it to the national trust so it can be protected from plastic bags, as these cause suffication!

the rareness of these trees is why mops are now mass produced in factories and not picked as in days gone by!

hope this as cleared things up for you.
:)

someone chucked it up there of course, how else, it didnt get up and put itself there did it
Probably some goofy kids hanging around playing with an old mop mom doesn't need anymore.
bags, from the wind,, mop someone placed there..unless there was a tornado ..
wind blows plastic bags into trees mop someone threw into tree
It was dropped by a witch, who had mistaken it for a broom.
A rare, but not unknown occurence when witches are in so much of a hurry.
LMAO!
I reckon the mop belongs to the tree. The tree was doing some housework and being lazy didnt put the mop away when finished with.
Somebody like me who cleans for a living threw the dam thing there!
Are you sure it wasn't a firebolt? Maybe Harry Potter had a bad encounter with dementor.
Somebody used a mop to get a bag out of the tree. It worked, but the mop got stuck
