What is the best way to remove a dead tree from your yard?

Question:Without explosives

Answers:
Cut it into pieces and then grind down the stup below the yard level. This will give you a reason to buy a chainsaw. But the chainsaw won't help you grind down the stump, you'll have to go get someone for that. Or you could buy a slashbuster. Check out slashbuster.com and look at the videos.

cut into little pieces an take them out 1 by 1
Put a sign on it: Free Wood.

Good luck.
Trim large branches with a chainsaw then:

Get a chain
Get yer truck
Get 'r done!
(As my husband suggests.)

Keep in mind if you hire someone or have anyone other than a professional do it, beware of injuries, you could be sued as a homeowner should someone hurt themselves. My suggestion is to ask your neighbors if they need any tree trimming...if so, see if they would split the cost of hiring a professional.
make your friends talk around in the neighborhood... that you got inheritance... and now not to get a tax on this very very big amount of money, you are hiding it inside the tree.
the best way would be call someone who does it for a living and ask them to come remove it and that is the best way you could do it with a chainsaw ,truck and a stump grinder
