Wasp infestation?!?!?!?

Question:Well i live in louisiana and we didnt exactly have a good freeze last winter so the wasps are everywhere! We have a big yard and very thick landscaping and if one dares walk near it you run the risk of being attacked. So how do i deal with this?

Answers:
First, make sure that they are not Africanized. Are they yellow jackets, red hornets? We spray yellow jacket nests with can wasp spray, because they are quick to drop on site. We will use liquid soap in a bottle sprayer for honey bees. that is what the vector control uses.. Just saw on the news how a colony of bees attached itself to a truck bumper. In the window time of 30 minutes. They are fast. Vector control came out and distinguished that they were not Afrianized and sprayed them with a soap and water solution. Ivory liquid works real good for us.
